Welcome to Token Man Comedy.

3 cracking women – one pretty good bloke!

We present the best in female comedy and female comedians but because we think it’s important to be inclusive, we always have a chap on the bill and he’s always one of the good ones so fear not!

Reversing the zeitgeist of the traditional, box ticking girl, on most traditional comedy nights or game show panels, we thought it would be fun to see how it works the other way round.

We are very happy to be at the fantastic Exchange Theatre in Twickenham, a lovely theatre space that is made for a wonderful audience experience and is a joy to perform in.  Come and join us!

Kate Lucas

KATE LUCAS

Award winning musical comedian Kate Lucas is known for her razor sharp and deliciously dark songs. She combines catchy melodies with original lyrics to showcase her playfully bitter musings on life. Audiences have come to expect examples of what not to say and how not to behave from this gloriously talented comic.

In 2014 she took home the title for the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year and her performances since have been met with huge critical acclaim.

‘Wickedly naughty and deliciously dark’
Broadway Baby

‘A true musical genius’
Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

Sally Firth

SALLY FIRTH (Sian Doughty)

Sally Firth is the mother of a young male stand up comedian. As he is unable to make the gig, she takes his place and does her version of his act, using his notebook as a starting point, as Sally set goes on though it becomes apparent that she has a darker side than her appearance would imply.

Reviews include: “Did a fantastic set, drove the audience wild” (Jason Why, promoter),  “Very funny” (Matthew Baylis, comic, MC and promoter)  “Lit up the stage” (Alastair Sadler, comic, MC and promoter) , “Sally is eminently likeable and the juxtaposition between content and delivery is a joy to watch. I've yet to see the character of "Sally" fail to win over audiences and keep them on her side throughout the journey that is her set. In short, smart, clever but most importantly funny."  (Ray Davis, comic, MC and promoter)“The innocent-looking but sexually explicit Sian Doughty” (Johnny Glasgow, MC and comic)
